It’s time for a Lamborghini supercar to go head-to-head against… an SUV?!
That’s right, we’ve got the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ going up against a BMW X3M over the quarter-mile. However, this is no ordinary X3M! Let’s check out the stats.
The standard BMW X3M is powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that can deliver 510hp and 600Nm of torque. However, this edition has had a £3,500 tune applied, and as a result, it now creates 730hp and 880Nm! All in, the X3M tips the scales at 1,995kg.
In comparison, the Aventador SVJ weighs approximately 1,650 kg. What’s more, it’s also equipped with a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that produces 770kg and 720Nm! Just like the BMW, the Lamborghini also comes with all-wheel drive.
So both cars have similar levels of power, but while the BMW costs around £39,000 second-hand, the SVJ comes in at a staggering £360,000! So could the BMW snatch the win? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

RE: The issues with the BMW X3M:
Unfortunately, the battery in the X3M was running low. This caused the issues with the warning lights, digital driver’s display, infotainment screen and even the heated steering wheel in the video.
