In 2024, the Ford Mustang® GTD clocked a great lap time of 6:57:68 at the hallowed Nürburgring. But great wasn’t good enough.

In 2025, the GTD returned to Germany, fine-tuned and ready to create more history. Watch as the two record lap times go head-to-head in a battle of pure speed and agility.

The Mustang GTD is one of only seven production sports cars to ever log a sub-7-minute lap at Nürburgring, and the first production sports car from an American brand to ever do it.
