(Pt 1) LEAN Highlander STUMPS 2 Shops?! (P0171- DIAGNOSIS)
This 2005 Toyota Highlander runs pretty well at 240k miles.
It does burn oil, and the steering wheel SHAKES really badly at speed.
However, the main Customer Complaint is that it has a
P0171-Fuel System LEAN code, with the Long Term Fuel Trim PEGGED at 30%!
Owner needs the MONEY LIGHT off to pass Emissions inspections, and he’s STUMPED as to what the problem is. Also, 2 other shops have been STUMPED AS WELL!
