The 2026 Toyota RAV4 Is Here And It’s 100% Hybrid! (Or PHEV)

It’s here, the all new 6th generation Rav4! Electrified is the only way forward and you can either get the 5th generation Hybrid system (in Front of All Wheel Drive) or the new PHEV powertrain (AWD only). There’s a shake up amongst trim levels and we now have 2 new trims with specific but differing focuses; on road (GR Sport) and off road (Woodland). If you want the new GR Sport you’ll find that only available in PHEV but the Woodland (though only in AWD) can be had in either HEV or PHEV. We’ll have to wait for fuel economy numbers till later.

We do know about power outputs and it’s either 226 (HEV FWD), 236 (HEV AWD), and 320 (PHEV AWD). We also get a 20% increase in EV range on the PHEV for an estimated 50 miles. Availability will be later this year and pricing will come closer to that time.
